The Nexus 5 was a joint venture project between Google (the developer of the Android mobile OS software) and LG (hardware manufacturer), announced in October 2013. The phone’s display measured 4.95” and featured full HD (1080p) under Corning’s scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3. The device featured an 8 megapixel rear camera from Sony, with the front camera delivering 1.3 megapixels.
