About the iPhone 4

There were two iPhone 4 models: a GSM and a CDMA version. GSM was released first, in June 2010, for the AT&T network. The phone included a front-facing camera for use with the new FaceTime software; the Apple A4 chip (designed by the company and first used in the iPad); and a 960×640 backlit LED screen, dubbed the Retina display. The CDMA iPhone 4 was released in February 2011 for the Verizon network, ending AT&T’s exclusive agreement with Apple.
